Drug dealer Radi Houting (46) found dead after a fire at a flat on Elisabeth Boddaertstraat

At around five in the morning on Saturday 9 November 2013 the fire brigade was called to a flat on Elisabeth Boddaertstraat in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Inside, the body of 46-year-old drug dealer Radi Houting was found. He did not live there: the flat belonged to a woman who was staying elsewhere at the time. Public reporting has never clarified exactly what happened or who started the fire. No one has been convicted of Radi Houting's death; the case remained unsolved.
